Has anyone figured out how to reset the average fuel mileage on the Actia LCD readout? I know how to reset the T1 and T2 mileage, and get to the display options, but nothing on the AVG Fuel Mileage reset. Any suggestions appreciated.

I am not real sure about this but it may have to be reset by Cummins Dealer.

This is the best set of instructions I could find for Actia gauges, although not for RV's.

https://secure.freightliner.com/newbulletins/techmanuals/DM-MM_Web/English/FCCC/Driver's%20Manuals/Walk-In%20Van%20Chassis%20Operator's%20Manual.pdf

It looks like if you highlight the average fuel mileage figure in the diagnostic mode, you might be able to use one of the buttons to set it. I might give it a try when I get a chance. There is also a good chance that it is just reading it from the engine computer.

Don't have the answer but I've been wondering the same thing. I fiddled with it a lot with no success. (Fiddling is a technical term that EngineerMike can explain). Inquiring minds want to know.

Fiddling: attempting to WRV (pronounced werv) the snot out of something, such that if everything goes wrong perfectly, your vehicle has to go to a proper service facility where proper technicians can marvel at the damage a big kid can do to a really big toy.

"...it may have to be reset by Cummins Dealer." I don't think it gets mileage from the engine's computer, since my Actia mileage keeps going up. UIMMG, Cummins should know better than 12.5 mpg. It started around 9 when I first got it.

Unless I Miss My Guess

My actual is 7.9 based on filling the tank & clocking mileage, so even the 9 was high when the coach had 850 miles.
