Due to an unexpected purchase of a second business my travel plans have come to a complete halt and I think it best to sell my 2008 36' MDDS. Purchased new from dealer and has only 5600 miles. I think best to advertise west coast but don't know best publications. Any thoughts would be appreciated.

Tom, make sure your insurance coverage is in force if you choose the "consignment" route, many policies wont cover the motorhome if you don't have direct control of it. Check e-bay, and other auction sites to see what they are worth. Selling it on this forum also works as severl members have done this.

Some folks use the RV Trader, and some folks use other RV for sale sites. You then can keep it where you have it and get e-mail notifications of who might want additional information.

One other thought is, to prep it for long term storage covered it up once you have it ready, and keep it for a while longer until the market improves. In this market you will take a killing on it trying to sell it now.

Recently there were several folks on here looking for the unit you have so you might get some questions just from this post.

Thank you for your comments and suggestions. I visit the coach weekly, run the genset and make visual inspection. We can make short weekend trips 75 mi or less and plan to while owning. However with coach paid in full just seem like time to sell rather than siting on unused value. I was not aware that we were allowed to sell on the Alpine forum and if that is allowed I can think of no better place to begin. Again thank you for your thoughts.
