Does anyone know the connector type for the air compressor hose outlet? I tried the hose off of my air compressor at home, but it wasn't the right fitting. I guess I can just go to the store an try a bunch of different connectors, but I thought I would try here first. Thanks!

I could never find the correct one for mine, so I bought the set and replace both ends. I do know there are about 5 or 6 different types.

Amflo couplers standardized the air hose attachement world. Heavy duty uses require 3/8 or 1/2", but we mortals use 1/4". Trouble comes when some neighbor shows up w/the wrong coupler style. Scroll down for the Combo Coupler, a solution to coupler confusion, which will accept most popular male coupler styles. Or you can go uptown w/push button disconnect female couplers by Prevost, available at better tool stores everywhere.

Always believed in multi tasking, just since the brain scramble after surgery, it is harder to do!

If you can find a local company that specializes in making air hose assemblies it becomes easy. We have a company called Flotran in PA and they are terrific. Mike's suggestion is to find a matching quick coupling assy is the way to go. Try a good sized rental organization that rents construction equipment such as street compressors, etc. and they can probably supply you with whatever you need.
