Having had some generator work done I now find there is insufficient clearance (tried putting the bra on) between the top of the boot (front panel, attached to generator slide)and the front cap. I read, in this forum, an older post that accurately describes how to adjust the front boot. There are 2 jack screws on the bottom of the gen slide rails. These 5/16 allen screws are secured by 1-1/8" lock nuts. I was able to adjust the left side but the right won't move. Tried an extension on my allen wrench but stopped short of stripping the allen screw. Tried heat - no effect. Soaked the screw with CorrosionX as much as possible (it is in a blind spot). Have been unsuccessful in locating a 5/16" allen impact socket. I am now asking for suggestions.
