I have my campground reservations made from Sept 23 thru Oct 2nd at Canyonlands Campground, 800 552-6848. If you plan on attending and want a site at CL with us, I would call soon as Sept is a busy time in Moab.

OK, OK.
Enough with the off-roading.
Let's get to the really serious stuff; you just gotta have a respite at Eddie McStiff's, "A connoisseur's favorite wet spot in the desert".

Trivia:
Back in the early days of TV, many of the B/W Cowboy movies were filmed in Canyonlands and Arches. Tom Mix, Hopalong Cassidy, Harry Carey, Johnny McBride, etc. spent a lot of time there.

And Eddie McStiff's wasn't even there yet.

BTW, go visit "Hole in the Wall" while you're there. Very unique place, that.

Unfortunately, Eddie McStiff's is on the list.

**disclaimer: Like anything on the internet take that list above with a grain of salt. Supposedly, some businesses feel like they got tricked into putting their businesses on a letter to the governor that they ultimately did not agree with.

That is not exhibiting good business sense. I'd bet a lot of their business is from those going to Moab for the off-roading pleasure it offers.

Signing a letter to restrict that ability is shooting themselves in the foot....with a 20 mike-mike cannon.
