The weather and the bugs were great to us. We had wind enough to blow the little critters away but not enough to rip awnings. We did have rain but it occured mostly an night. A couple of fronts moved through bringing heavy rain and high winds along with a hightened awarenes (read scary stuff) but no damage reported to the coaches. Okay, maybe a few leaks here and there.

Overall, a great time for all.

A big round of applause for Louie, Ray and their committee! We had a FUN RALLY, great caravan and just topped it off with an all hands pizza party here in St Paul.

Thanks again guys and gals,

Hinckley Rally

The Hinckley Rally is over
Everyone in attendance had fun
Don't be sad if you missed it
Just plan now to be at the next one

Thirty-five coaches convened at the casino
The camaraderie and food was just great
The weather treated us most kindly
When it rained, it always rained late

At the yard games we played like ten year olds
Crawling around on the ground
The big winner's won a cash card
Nary a complaint was to be found.

The beer and wine flowed quite freely
Burgers and Brats were plentiful too
It has been a while since our last keg party
Stopping before it floated just wouldn't do

We all learned more about our coaches
The Vansco rep was the śman'
Everyone got some great info
Some even made up a plan

Our caravan was a great one
The coaches stayed close up and tight
Off quickly we went to the fair ground
And settled in for the night

They say that parting is sweet sorrow
It is hard to leave a good friend
Let's just keep the tires a'rolling
Till we are together again

Louis, you are a GREAT poet!! And, I hear the rally was truly as wonderful as your poem indicates.

Surely do wish we hadn't missed it, but we'll try to get to the next one.
