You are all invited to a party!! Our host is 150 years old and after a record breaking winter of cold and snow is ready to take off its winter attire and Welcome us to the State. There are lots of planned activities celebrating Minnesota's Sesquicentennial that you can also attend. So let's all hold our noses, swallow the bitter diesel pill and let our beautiful coaches do what they are supposed to do.

EVENT ACA FMCA Pre-rally
PLACE Grand Casino RV Park, Hinckley, MN
DATE July 8 thru 12
ATTIRE A big smile and a sense of adventure

Come early and stay late!!!

Many inviting destinations await you either before or after the rally. In addition to the information provided in the March 18 ACA newsletter posted on the Alpine Coach Association web site www.alpinecoachassociation.com , we will have additional information about the area for you in the registration handouts.

This is an FMCA pre-rally sponsored by the Alpine Coach Association planned for July 8-12 being held at the Grand Casino RV Park in Hinckley, Minnesota. The rally is open to all Alpine Coach owners. For those who choose to attend the FMCA rally, we plan to caravan on to St. Paul on Sunday July 13 (Registration directly with FMCA is required).

The rally fee is set at $300 which provides five nights camping with full hook ups, one breakfast, one lunch and one dinner. Come join us by completing your registration and payment no later than June 7, 2008.

Current plans include participation by WRV and their service team as well as dealers with new coach displays. WRV will be requesting in a separate mailing your service needs to facilitate planning on their part. The planned Gearhead session will include a presentation by the VANSCO Corp. Golfing will also be available to those who choose to play. As we continue to develop the daily agenda, we will keep you informed.

You may request a registration form by email LABSR@AOL.com or phone at (940) 648-1304.

Will WRV's Closing it's doors last Tuesday have any effect on the pre rally?

datibbitts, the short answer is NO IMPACT, but that is obviously not the whole truth. Without WRV, there will be no new coach display, no service, and no sponsorship or sharing of cost for the rally. Without WRV, the dealers have to take the same position, and in fact neither WRV nor a dealer will be at the pre-rally. They, the good people not the $'s, WILL BE sorely missed!

Having said all of that, the rally WILL GO ON and it will be a great rally for those who choose to attend. To use Engineer Mike's words, without a ˜Mother Ship', it is most important that all current owners, not just ACA owners, meet and share our knowledge about how to maintain the coaches. The rally agenda has evolved to allow time for just that. The gear head session will cover information about the Vansco modules, a system in the coach that only a few understand. This information will be new and exciting to many of us.

This in addition to the usual food and fun will set the stage for all the great Alpine folks to gather and have a super time. So if you are an Alpine owner, get and send in a registration and join us there.

Daddy Louie,

I have a 2005 Alpine purchased in Dec 07 and never used. The Vansco Power Distribution Panel and Multiplex Unit are both dead, no input, no output, thus the coach is unusable. I would like to attend this meeting. Are there rooms at the Grand Casino Hotel and is it near. What is the cost to attend without my coach?

lera,
We would love for you to attend the rally and yes there is a hotel at the casino which is near teh RV park. There are also chalets available. The reservation number is 1-800-995-4726.

Above lodging, the rally cost would be $184 for a couple. This would entitle you to all of the other activities at the rally. Call me at 214-534-0399 and we can work out the details.

Louis

Hi ACA Gang,
Just a quick note to all the ACA folks in Hinckley to say Hello. How about letting us know how the Pre-Rally is going? Pictures would be most appreciated too for those of us unable to attend.

Sure wish we were there. Chuck's treatments start on Monday. Hope to be back on the road in the near future!
Safe travels to all of you.

Looks like a lot of eatin' and drinkin' going on...but then, what's new for an ACA rally. These are great pics, Louis, but I didn't see the one where the mosquitos were carrying off one of the coaches!

I'm just jealous, and wish we were there. Have a wonderful time there and at FMCA!
