Alpine Mid-door 2006

I would like to know the Mfg. of the latch/arm at top of the door.

There's a small latch on the top of the door approx. 1/4" x 3/4"
If you move the latch with a screw driver the door will stay open.
But, will not remain in the proper position.

Thank you John

The maker is PTL Industries--located in Indianna or Ohio, I think. Was going to ask you to double check the cable that goes from the arm down to the door latch/lock--it sometimes gets out of adjustment but the door latch may have changed between 03 and 06. The adjustment screw is on the latch mechanism, behind the inside cover door handle/plate, on the 03.

I disabled mine, but if you take the inside of the door apart you may be able to determine your issue. It is not a difficult task at all.
