Exclamation Alpine questions

I am looking at a 2000 Alpine. they say I'ts the top of the line. What is the top of the line in Alpine motor homes? It is 38', supposedly with the 350 cummins turbocharged and allison tranny 6 speed with 2 overdrives. It has 73k miles and their asking 60k. They say it was over 300k new? Would that be possible? I'm new to motor homes and want to start out on the right foot.

Alpine questions

Bill, go to the sticky above that "Alpine Tech Library", follow that link and you will get to a tab that has the brochures, find you model and it will tell you all about the coach. Yes, the MSRP was above $300 K.

$60, 000 is pretty high for a 2000.

Thanks for the info. Yes I thought it was high as well. Did they have a recall on the brake issue?

Search the forum, you will find threads covering brakes.

As stated earlier--there is a wealth of knowledge here on the forum--use the search function to tap into this data. Brake issues involved early Alpines with 2-piston calipers--on the cusp, but believe by 2000, the one you are looking at would have four-piston calipers.
