New Owners
We are the new owners of 2005 Alpine Limited 34 FDDS, number 75338 We purchased this from Ted Ulmer. Ted did a wonderful job of maintaining this coach and we are very proud to have purchased it from him. We flew from Burbank, CA to Philadelphia on April 15. We then spent 7 hours with Ted, having him explain everything he could, (and us trying to comprehend his 6 years of experience with this Alpine) . We then "jumped" into our new coach and drove 3000 miles to Amys house in Thousand Oaks, CA...We spent 7 days
on the road, and had a very successful shake down cruise without any problems. We would like to have made this same trip last a few weeks, or even a few months.....but Amy is a teacher, and her Spring break is only a week long. I am self employed with much more flexibility. We have RVed for many years and look forward to meeting other Alpine owners and all the other great RVers out there. We have sent in our Alpine Coach Association
application, with dues included, so hopefully you will accept us into your group!! Mike and Amy

Welcome to the Club, join ACA for a complete experience. You would love Quartzsite Desert Rat Rally's in January, if Amy can get off.

Thanks RV Girl, Rufnek, Mike and Amy, Capt Bravo, Dave Stanley and All. Here is the updated list. The ACA version continues to be much more complete, but every little bit is helping. If anyone has information on previous owners of their coach, please forward it, even if not complete. We may be able to piece things together.

I'm surprised to see the first owners of our coach (74619) are in Florida. The papers in with the manuals and service records indicated it was someone in California. I'm also surprised to see the supposed previous owners still have (at least as shown on a Dec 2010 posting tagline) a 2002 38 ft FDDS, which sounds suspiciously like one we took on a short exercise run in this past week. ??

slflynn:
I only show two other 2002 38 footers on the list, aside from yours. Do you have the previous owner's name on your paperwork (Miller), being different?
An interesting phenomenon I've been seeing is how many folks are "from" one place, but are registered in Livingston, TX or Sioux Falls, SD or Yuma, AZ or various points in FL. I try to list their real home, if given a choice, not their registration home.
If you have different information on your paperwork, let me know. I am using information from this and other forums, gleaned from publicly posted information.
The ACA version of the list has a few conflicting hometowns, but also only two other 38 footers. I'm sure there are more, but only three are listed. I'm not sure what December listing you are referring to.

Thanks for the info. Are your relations on this forum, too? (Collecting avatars)
Bert and Ernie:
Are your owners both listed (completely)?

74123 Information is correct. Charles does not belong to the forum.
74607 According to Carfax I am listed as second owner.
No avatar. Bert and Ernie sounds believable.
Thanks for your efforts.

I added comment to the Alpine VIN sheet. I hope that is what you were asking for us to do. New to this sight (Alpine owners). Anyway, it was for VIN 74738. Thanks

As added. It looks like we will be the "third" owners on VIN 74738, but it was really repoed and sold at auction, by a bank from the original owner. We are getting it from the successful auction RV lot buyer. The CarFax lists the original owner registering it for the first time in La Quinta, CA. That is the best I can do for you.
