Hi Tom & Patty, we also have an Alpine and live at North Vernon, Indiana. In a previous post you made mention of your trip home and ABS light coming on. Our 99 Alpine has given us brake trouble twice. We have also had the ABS light to come on and totally lost our brakes. It would get a little long to tell you all the story on the site. If interested call me Don Robinson, home 812 346 4396, cell 314 610 2622. good wishes from the old trucker.

thanks for the update. I noticed the previous owner was Mr. Robert Quinatard from livingston Tx. I did a directory search for him in Livingston Tx. and no luck. I there any other way i can recieve contact information for him. We purchased our coach on the cranky ape auction and would like to know if there is any issues with the coach. thanks

krob911:

Livingston, TX are code words for fulltimer. Livingston is a popular place to claim legal residence (taxes, mail, voting, etc.). It really is just a big mail center. It has spurred lots of voting controversy, too.

Perhaps someone on this forum will know Bob and Jacquie and how to contact them. Good luck!

Bob & Jacquie were members of Alpine SoCal until Bob became to ill to continue with their motorhoming. I don't know their mailing address or phone number, but I do have an email address for them. Krob911, I'll see if I can get a response for you and post in a PM to you here.

Belated Welcome! to our forum. I have added your avatar and City to the Registry.

Would you like me to add your name?

What is the configuration of your coach (feet, mid- or front-door, number of slides)? I'm assuming it is a year 2000, probably an ISC 350 engine.

You can also add information to your Signature line using the User Control Panel (User CP) at the top of any page. That will help others in better understanding any issues you may be inquiring about or finding others with the same rig.

Anyhow, welcome!

The Coach is a 2000 and 36' version in blue, gey and white. It was owned in San Jose CA then came to Oregon a couple of years ago. It had been sitting outside but now has cozy spot inside our shop which is really helped in many ways.

Our Alpine is something we've wanted for abut 10 years. We went to the factory took the tour and looked over the years for one, and now took the plunge. We have had 3 RVs before with a camper and 2 Class C MHs, so this is big improvement and commitment. So far we've changed the carpets to wood and lots of maintenance to bring the coach up to where we'll have pride in it and keep it hopefully for many years and adventures.

So far lots of information I have been getting from the forum has enabled us take on projects in the motorhome and feel confident others have tackled the problem and gotten thru it.

Thanks

Welcome to the forum!

What is the configuration of your coach? Front-door/Mid-door? Triple slide/Quad-slide?

Is it just a coincidence that the coach with the VIN just before yours is also from Box Elder, SD?
