New to Alpine

Just purchased a 2004 36 MDDS # 74941 Haven't had a chance to drive it yet as the former owners have to remove their "stuff". Bought it at Premier RV Services in Junction City, OR. Hope to get delivery in the next few days. It sure is hard to wait.

Bob:

Congratulations and Welcome!

We're showing that coach owned previously by Jim and Deborah Bernot. Are you the second or the third owner? Let us know. It is interesting to see where these coaches start out and end up.

We look forward to seeing you on the road.

I am the second owner. I saw the Bernots at Premier RV when they were cleaning out the coach. I didn't get a chance to talk to them as they were busy and short on time. There are still a couple of minor problems to take care of and I should have the coach by Monday. Sure is hard waiting but soon all will be well. I did get a chance today to look at the steering bracket and all is ok there. That was one of my concerns as the previous owner had not checked it. Don't know if they bought another coach or not.

2002 34' Alpine Coach

We purchased our 2002 34 foot Alpine Coach (Cummins ISC 350) in August 2011. It's VIN #74538. I believe that we are the second owners. We love it!

Many clubs of our type track individual units, especially things in limited production (like ours) or a limited history (like ours) or self helping associations (like ours). Boats, special cars, boutique RV's, etc.

WRV tracked their customers the same way. When I purchased mine used, they updated their files when they found out about the sale. The list they maintained had lots of information about the build. That list was allegedly given to ACA, though no one seems to know where it is (or didn't respond to my last inquiry).

There may be some folks that feel the information is too private to share, I suppose. Others mention (last thread on this) that there were too many to track. Be we have to start somewhere, and I have.

I have information on about 100 coaches of an estimated 1400 produced. I put them into a table for filling in as we go. It has the VIN, Model, Engine, Owner, City & State and the avatar for current and past owners.

Maybe we can "Sticky" this and as people contribute, I'll update it.

I'll also cut out the non-existent VINs with whatever information we can gather up. Meanwhile, hopefully someone can find the WRV list and we can use it to start building and updating the list. We will need to include destroyed units as well.

Hopefully some of you would be interested. It looks like there are 387 IRV2 members currently with Alpine, Avalanche or Apex coaches. Lots of former owners, too.
We own 99 Alpine 72065, we purchased used from the estate of Dale Lightcap 12-5-2009. Mr & Mrs Lightcap purchased new 8=5=98, they are both deceased. Don & Janetta Robinson, North Vernon, Indiana

New owner

We purchased a 2000 Alpine Coach 36-FDS, serial #74008, on August 5th, 2012. The Coach is equipped with the 'Gold Coast' package and has 38,000 miles on it which is likely correct because in 2000 it still had the original tires on it. [No longer the case, it now has four new tires and two tires that are one year old.]

We purchased the Coach from Cal Bisson of Auburn California. He bought the Coach in October 2010.

It is unknown if there were any other owners.

The Original owner was a Corporation, I&R Investment of Bellevue, Michigan. The original date of sale was October 21, 1999.
