Hello & Welcome GreenMachine; Welcome to the Alpine family and to iRV2!

You may wish to check out membership in one or more of our clubs. You can start with the national club, ACA, which you can check out at www.alpinecoachassociation.com, and then see if there is a regional club for the area of the country that is your home base.

Vin Number

We currently own 18XFACM2941174890, a 2004 36' FFP and love it!

Is there a way to search for prior owners? would love to know more about it's history.

Hello & Welcome Ed, the VIN plate is located on the outside of Frame rail, driver's side near the front tire. A second VIN is located behind the cover for the generator near fuel fill. Run the generator slide out and you should be able to locate it.

Newbie

So excited we just picked up our 2007 Alpine 40MDTS yesterday. Driving to California in it today! It still has all the tags on the furniture and plastic on the mattress. 2040 miles when we picked it up! Hoping there are no surprises from it sitting so long. We are Bob and Cindy King We live in Edgewood WA. 75746 is the last 5 of the VIN. I LOVE this passenger seat!!I I can't figure out why once the sun hit the passenger side window if seemed to fog, are the windows double panes? There is nothing to wipe off on the inside. Hmm

Get a spare fuel filter. After sitting that long the new bio fuel will clean a lot of crud out of the tank. Almost all diesel has bio fuel blended in now.

Welcome Bob and Cindy,

We have 75272 40 FDTS and are presently in SOCAL basking in 90 degree weather.
We started 'full timing' last summer and found no equal to the ride and drivability of the Alpine.
Surprise! We keep our Alpine at Edgewood July, August & Sept.

Enjoy your Alpine.

Welcome to the Alpine Coach Assoc. It is a great group.
The windows are double pane and the fogging is from moisture between the panes. We have a 2005 MDDS and have had all of them cleaned and resealed. We did it at the Desert Rat Rally, but other people have advised that it is better to have that done in a dust free shop.
Something else you should look at is your tires as they are over 7 years old.
You should be able to find threads on both of these items.

We have a 2005 Alpine 38 ft. FDTS which has an Amana double door home style refrigerator / freezer that rattles when I think the compressor comes on.
If I push on the front top of the unit, [ don't really lift it up ] the noise stops. But, as soon as I let back, the noise renews itself. Our repair man, Jason from Accurate RV in Bend, OR says he needs to adjust the legs, which we do not have, so he's trying to find some to install. Does anyone else have this problem and if so how did you stop the ever irritating noise???? Thanks.... Dave Stanley

Thanks Capt Bravo I was guessing that might be the issue with the windows. We talked to Les Schwabb and they said to look for any cracking or bulges. They still look new. We plan to stop by for a visual inspection next week. So far everything is running perfectly. Maybe I shouldn't say that... We are still reading the books on how everything works. Another concern I see on here is the steering wheel bracket. Do all of them need a support bracket added to them?
