Jeff & Len, if you scroll back through this thread you will see where either Takepride or I have attached a copy of the then current register. If you search those previous registers you might find information on prior owners.

FYI - the register started out blank, as we received info it was added to the register, no information is removed (unless we receive a posting to this thread, or a PM, from the registered owner that they have sold the coach, in that case we would remove his info and be waiting for the new owner to notify us of their info before it would be re-listed, privacy issues). There is currently nothing under that VIN so we have never seen information from a owner.

If you want to add your info to the register, post here (or send me a PM) the following info

VIN
Year of coach
Model (Apex, Limited, Avalanche)
Floor plan (FDTS, MDDS, etc)
Length
Engine
Name(s)
City, State

I think I understand that the 10th digit from the left in the full serial indicates the model year? If one listed and titled as a 2008 has that 10th digit as a 9, should that be an indicator that it is in fact an '09? Not sure it matters other than a curiosity, but anyone with either a late '08 or early '09 that can verify? TIA for any guidance.

Since Western RV closed the doors in '08 that was the last year they were built but they must have been the '09 model at the end. There were maybe a handful of coaches that were incomplete when the doors closed that were finished by other parties and could have VIN numbers indicating a latter year that the model too. PitMan51 has one of those and could give you all the details that he has sorted out on his coach.

The 08 vs 09

I believe the first 09 was about 798. I think all coaches finished in 08 had had an 09 Vin. We own #828. It start out as a custom order, but as not finished before WRV filled for bankruptcy. It was sold at the bankruptcy auction unfinished and was not actually licensed until 12/12. It has a 09 Vin, but titled as an 08. We are in the process of getting it retitled as an 09 - easy process in Washington
