Many clubs of our type track individual units, especially things in limited production (like ours) or a limited history (like ours) or self helping associations (like ours). Boats, special cars, boutique RV's, etc.

WRV tracked their customers the same way. When I purchased mine used, they updated their files when they found out about the sale. The list they maintained had lots of information about the build. That list was allegedly given to ACA, though no one seems to know where it is (or didn't respond to my last inquiry).

There may be some folks that feel the information is too private to share, I suppose. Others mention (last thread on this) that there were too many to track. Be we have to start somewhere, and I have.

I have information on about 100 coaches of an estimated 1400 produced. I put them into a table for filling in as we go. It has the VIN, Model, Engine, Owner, City & State and the avatar for current and past owners.

Maybe we can "Sticky" this and as people contribute, I'll update it.

I'll also cut out the non-existent VINs with whatever information we can gather up. Meanwhile, hopefully someone can find the WRV list and we can use it to start building and updating the list. We will need to include destroyed units as well.

Hopefully some of you would be interested. It looks like there are 387 IRV2 members currently with Alpine, Avalanche or Apex coaches. Lots of former owners, too.

We have unit 75281 a 2005 38FDTS which we bought new in June of 2004

Add 72087 to the list

We purchased 72087 from a private party in Minnesota in May, 2006.

on 75214, you should add ISL400 (WRV claimed that they changed the model year to 2005, as soon as they started installing the ISL engine) We live in Dallas, OR, and you have the avatar correct! Thanks for doing this.

Done! I've changed both the ACA file and the attached IRV2 Forum file.

Dave:

Any info on the previous owners?

Steve:

I added you to the IRV2 Registry. You are already on the ACA Registry.

Bill:

Ditto.

Right now is looks like the ACA version has about three times as many names. I still need to match up a couple hundred IRV2 avatars to existing coach information and additional VIN's. Thanks for your help!

The previous owner of 72087 was Jeff Matejka from Winona, MN. I also believe that he was the original owner. I never met him, since I purchased the coach through a friend of Jeff's, who kept it at his home. My understanding is that the coach was used pirmarily to take trips to/from Florida by Jeff and other family members.

LLL:

Thank you! I had your information on the ACA version of the Registry, but without a post here, I don't have permission to post information gathered via ACA. Originally I found your VIN in one of your earlier posts.

Now I have everything but your engine size, but assume all 2006's were ISL's. I need to review old brochures to find out when they became standard. I'll get around to it eventually. Right now I'm still scouring For Sale ads and salvage information.
