takepride et al,

I'm happy to say that the ACA website has been updated, so please go take another look. The lack of availability of the past 4 newsletters wasn't due to the inattention of our webmistress, but to a misunderstanding on the intent of the Board in making newsletters available to the general public. Therefore, all newsletters through the April 2007 edition are now on the site under "Past Newsletters", and when the Sept/Oct newsletter is published, she will move the July edition over for viewing.

Again, RVRon, thanks for your willingness to do all of this for us Alpine owners. Can't wait for the chance to meet you.

I'll add the new FMCA Article to the library. Please keep me in mind as you have any other info that may be helpful to other Owners or want to be owners. Thanks Again for any and all help!

Ron the Tech Librarian-
I think what you are contemplating is a great service idea. I have several PDF files of chassis-part & appliance service manuals I've accumulated (Bosch brake unit, Neway suspension, fridge, HydroHot etc.) that I carry on my travelling computer so as to have info on hand in case of an "issue" and that could be of use to others. E.g. I've sent the brake unit service manuals to a coupla folks.

Here's a suggestion- ask who wants to receive such tech info via email, and when something new comes in on a somewhat standard system used on Alpines, send out a group email w/the attachment. If it is something that applies to my coach, I'll store it. If not I'll send it the way of all unwanted electrons (wherever that is that they go). And if you ever send me an advertisement, I can reply w/a suitably nasty virus

If that sounds good send me a PM and I'll shoot you the manuals.

Ron,

There are a couple other Alpine references in past FMCA literature. They can be downloaded from their website. Do a "search", I found several reviews.

You might check on the need for permissions. However, since ACA is a Chapter of FMCA, and you might possibly be working with ACA or publishing through ACA, permissions might be easy to arrange.

When hooking up for the Mystic Rally of the ACE, I had to become a member of FMCA and ACA as well. Did all that and I still can't access the ACA site.

No user name or password was given me.

Someone really dropped the ball on that one.

Thanks Ron.

I, for one, am happy you are serious about your relationship with the Alpine Coach group and WRV.

I've got to tell you I'm really happy with our's and with WRV. The 2 times I've had to call them for information resulted in what I consider outstanding Customer Service (and I know about that from having responsibility for it with other companies over many years).

Thanks again.
