Don & Ruth: Thanks for the info on Mountain View. Perhaps next trip we'll be waving at ya! Are you by chance going to the rally in Indio?

We won't make Indio, but hope to get to the QZ rally for a day. We will be traveling with friends so can't do the whole rally. We are looking forward to meeting Alpine owners.

Met Bob Figge in his 2001 36'FDDS from Thousand Oaks Ca. in a great little rv park right on Silverado Trail in Napa. If you like to wine taste in the Napa area this is a perfect park to stop in. Located in the Napa Fairgrounds, redone with large concrete pads and 50 amp service.

Wink

Do you recall the name of the RV park? You probably mean Bill Figge. I can envision him hanging out at tasting rooms!

Spotted a beautiful green, newer (38'?) at Admiralty RV in San Antonio, TX, December 26-Jan 1. Didn't get a chance to chat with the owners (Keith and Shirley Jones, Morrison, IL). Guess we were both too busy to be there at the same time.

Also saw an older (white) coach as we pulled out of Beaudry RV, Tucson, January 2. Sorry to miss them, too.

Seems my ambassador skills are failing.

I spotted one of the few Meadowlands coaches headed out of San Diego going East on I8 towing something that I missed. We were headed West coming back from a 3-day weekend in Cuyamaca Rancho State Park. It was about 10:30 AM.

We are at Two Springs RV Resort in North Palm Springs and there were three Alpines here last week. Wow. This is a park where you buy your lot so these guys are committed to getting out of Washington and Oregon every year. Fun to talk to some new Alpine friends!

Hi Pam, welcome to Two Springs. We are normally in lot 131 for the winter but are currently in Quartzsite for the ACA Desert Rat Rally IX. Hope to meet you when we get back home.

We were at James Island campground in November. They had just finished putting up the Christmas lights/displays. They had a "hot" test on a Thursday night and we got to see all the lights. Really awesome. I understand the crowds get to be pretty large when it is open to the public.

We're at Mesa Spirit (site V102) and saw this morning on our walk that there is an Alpine over on the "A" road. ~2007 or so 40TSFD. Very seldom we see another Alpine.
