Met Will and Barb in their 2005 FDTS tonight in Fredericksburg Texas. First time we have seen another Alpine in Texas. Was nice visiting.

Alpine sighting

Met an Alpine this morning about 11:00 AM on California 36 near Mt Lassen National Park between Paynes Creek and Mineral about 30 miles east of Red Bluff.

Nice looking coach pulling a Jeep Wrangler.

If anyone knows this coach and if they are local I'd like to meet them. Would be nice to know other Alpine owners in this area.

Spent the week at Rincon Parkway, Ventura County CA. Saw 3 Alpines in the Faria Beach campground, I believe they were all together. Down the road a couple miles was another Alpine parked in the day use area. I believe
they were all 36' and various years. That's 5 Alpines in a 3 mile stretch.

6 Alpines, if you include us driving by on the 101 toward Port St. Luis Harbor! We saw the Moho lineup, from the freeway on Saturday.

We see an Alpine Coach in the Chula Vista RV Resort where we're parked for the week. I believe it's an '03 or '04 similar to ours but with a mid-door. We've gone down there a couple of times but no one is home. We' keep trying while we're here.

12/24 pulled into Jetty Park in Cocoa Beach and spotted a 2004(?) black and silver. Walked by but it looked like no one was home. Will stop and leave a card. We are in site 122 till Wednesday, then have to relocate to another site. Merry Christmas!Click image for larger version

A little late reporting but had an Alpine Coach right next to me at a bluegrass festival in Buena Vista, VA in September. Not exactly the most sociable of individuals so did not get name, year or model.

Finding a WRV anything east of the Mississippi is rare.

An even more unusual spotting was another last of the breed 5ers at a CG in St John's, Newfoundland this past June.

Stopped at rest stop on I-10 near Beaumont, CA and pulled in next to Carolyn Handly's Apex headed east. Great conversation, even if it was just in passing, she said she may make it to DRR.

I bit late. We saw what looked like a 40' with Sherwood paint at B&B RV (or Camping World) in Redding, Ca. on Jan 2nd. We'll be headed south on I-5 from Oregon to So Cal next week. Probably Thur/Fri with an overnight at Jackson Rancheria. Keep your eyes peeled.

Today I saw maybe a 40' with the awning repaired. Looked like it had torn off the side of the coach due to the fact that there was a big primer patch under the pivot point of the awning.

The unit was driving (could not catch him) EB on the 405 freeway just east of Torrance (LA) Ca. The plate was out of state.
