Alpine So Cal Clubs September Rally will be held at Wine Country RV Resort in Paso Robles, CA .

The dates are Friday the 8th, Saturday the 9th, and leaving Sunday the 10th.

The cost for the 2 nights, vineyard tour, and private wine tasting at Eberle Winery is $115.00.

Saturday we will start off the day at approximately 9:45 AM. We will meet Cindy Newkirk from the Wineyard, http://www.thewineyard.com/index.html , at the clubhouse and follow her to the family farm by carpool. There we will learn about growing and harvesting the grapes for wine. After the tour of the farm we will then visit Eberle Winery, http://www.eberlewinery.com/ , for private wine tasting .

Guaranty RV centers is bringing 2 new Alpine coaches for display .

Saturday afternoon is open for many choices. Other points of interest in the area are The Hearst Castle, http://www.hearstcastle.org/ , in San Simeon. San Simeon is about 50 minutes to one hour from the RV Park. This weekend they will be conducting night tours of the Castle. Tours start at 6:30 PM and the last tour starts at 8:30. Cost for the night tour is $30.00. Hearst Castle also has day tours available. For the aviation buffs the Estrella Warbird Museum, http://www.ewarbirds.org/ , is just down the road from Wine Country RV. The museums hours are 10 AM to 4 PM Saturday, and noon to 3 PM on Sunday. There are nice golf courses nearby, and more wineries to tour.

Saturday night will be a group barbeque at the clubhouse. Please bring your entrée of choice and a side dish to serve 6 people. Be sure to bring your favorite beverage, eating utensils and plates.

Tom & Patty,

Just wanted to say "formally" that this was a fabulous rally! You and the Leys did a great job in putting it together, and I think everyone enjoyed it as much as we did. We only wish even more ACA & SoCal members could have been there!

Tom & Patty- Sue and I really enjoyed our first trip and first rally with the club. You two, as well as Mike and Nancy did a great job! The group was great, the vinyard tour was extremely enjoyable. Thanks again.
