Hello Fellow Alpiners,

Its been a long time since Rod & I have been on this forum. We haven't made it to DRR in quite a few years even tho we are in Parker, AZ for the winter. During the time of DRR we are in Hawaii.

We are wondering if anyone has any idea what Alpines specifically a 2007, 40FDQS, Limited SE, with 25,000 miles is bringing? If anyone has traded or has any info we would appreciate a response.

Rod is doing much better, he had surgery 2 years ago and the doctors finally were able to get his stomach problems corrected. They just said no more fruits & veggies and eat greasy foods. How's that for healthy eating?

Rod welcomed his second grandchild last week, his name is Ashton Matthew Heilig, mom, dad and big sis are fine tho lacking some sleep.

Hope everyone had a great time at DRR. Again any info on values would be greatly appreciated since we no longer have a plant to go to.

Happy Travels,
Rod & Merlene Heilig

If you haven't kept up with market values in the last few years you will be surprised and disappointed. Asking prices are all over the board but actual sales on places like ebay show that Alpines are selling about 10% below "low retail" on NADA. For your coach, low retail is $150K. (ouch). Last fall, an ebay auction had a 2008 Alpine 40 FDQS that sold for $160K.

OUCH ! 10 % less. I don't suppose our 2005 Alpine Avalanche is worth much from what I hear about the Avalanche. Looks like the Avalanche experiment didn't work out well for Western RV Inc. We've had it 18 months and do enjoy it so we won't worry too much about the sales value.

Same attitude that I have! Except 8 years instead of 18 months. I expect to have to sell it for scrap value after I am finished with it.

I'm looking at a 2004 Alpine Coach 40ft 3-slide 400hp with 26k asking price $89,900 thinking of going from a Alpenlite 3-slide to a MH, still thinking.

2 Stroker:

Sounds like a good potential. Seems like really good pricing, too, depending on condition. Might you have the last five numbers of the VIN for our Registry?

Thank you 2 Stroker! What town does it currently reside in? Is it a front door (FDTS) or a mid-door (MDTS)?

Hope it works out for you. We'd like to see you around.
