Mel- w/the 425, we have all straight couplers (he said) that are orange w/a spiral wire reinforcing wrap to minimize the span of the flexible tube wall. At least that's how mine is plumbed.

My 425 is the same as Mike's. I think that hose would not be covered by warranty. The only part besides the engine is the DPF that is covered by warranty.

Mel- I can't guarantee we won't need to replace straight couplers, but they are working so far.
As to warranty, the elbows and the straight couplers are parts spec'd, ordered & installed by WRV (as was the metal tubing) so there is no Cummins warranty.
