Anyone know this Alpine?

This was on our local news in Atlanta. This coach was just south of Atlanta. My wife paused the TV and snapped the picture. I am assuming they are fleeing Florida. I wish them safe travels.

Looks like a FMCA goose egg on front in the license plate location.

That is our Alpine and we were headed home (Powder Springs) from Orlando. We went down on Tuesday for a doctors appointment and had planned on a longer stay but had to cut it short due to the hurricane. Too much driving in a lot of traffic for such a short stay, but it was good to get home safe.

Jim, kind of hard to tell from the camera angle but most Alpines tend to have a slight nose-high stance. Your coach "appears" to be a bit low in front. Think I would confirm the air bag ride heights for both axles are within spec [eg, 10 5/16" in front and 7 1/2" in rear]. You can get the adjustment process off the ACA website or from some recent threads here on this forum. Safe travels......

Old Scout, that nose high comment is interesting. I noticed this on our coach myself but only after installing the Koni 99's and thought they were the reason. Thanks for clearing that up for me.

No, the shocks do nothing plus or minus concerning ride height. Yes,there are some shocks that do (like on PU's), but neither Bilstein nor Konis do.

Both brands can be compressed by hand (harder with Bilsteins since they are gas charged), but irrelevant compared with weight of the coach.

Oh no, I wrote the NS* acronym. Guess I'll be under the microscope.

I love the USA and all those in power!

He could have been slowing down when the picture was taken. That maybe why the Alpine was nose down. He did say he was in heavy traffic. Just my two cents.
