Apex on E-Bay

There is an Apex for sale on E-Bay which is possibly the Tibbits coach.
** ESTATE SALE ** 06 Alpine APEX 40 ft ** NO RESERVE **: eBay Motors (item 120608306001 end time Aug-22-10 19:15:00 PDT)

It has an interesting house battery setup.

It went for US $114,600.00. Heck of a deal.

Well, I wanted to bid on the unit however my wife reminded we already have two RV's with motors and one fifth wheel. She said if we get another RV with a motor something will have to go. I was unable to determine what the something was so decided not to bid. Seemed like a good buy to me.

Rod- the something she was referring to might have been a male biped.

I am going out on a limb and say it did not come from the factory that way. Those batteries look like the ones they put into big heavy equipment, expensive and heavy. But that is just a guess.
