Our LP gas detector starting blinking green very rapidly. The instruction book doesn't mention this condition. I removed each 1 amp fuse to try to reset it, but it never stopped blinking, so the fuse charts may be wrong. When I hit the test button, nothing happens... it just keeps blinking green rapidly. Anyone have any idea what's happening? If I have to replace it, is it easy?

We had to have ours replaced because it died - ours was beeping continuously - couldn't be reset - not sure about the fast blinking - might you still have the manual around - or look it up on the web perhaps. Might give you more info about the fast blinking ----

WE had to replace ours after the door to the Amana fridge came open and it got splattered with yogurt and Bailies Irish Cream. Stuck on and I had to cut the power wire to get it to shut up. Bailies & yogurt is not a bad taste combination. Was not going to waste itl HA!

I believe the rapid blinking is a result of a bad ground. Try a temporary ground you know to be good.

It DID turn out to be a bad ground. We had a service guy come out and he wired in a ground from another circuit and all works fine now. I learn something every time something breaks but it seems that the solution to every new problem is just out of range of my knowledge/experience.
