We're having problems with our Atwood stove where we seem to have a propane odor (more than we used to) when we are cooking. We've been trying to find someone to work on it besides an RV person, as we have not had good luck with RV people servicing stove problems. Has anyone used someone other than an RV person to look at stove problems, e.g. a gas company, Sears, a propane dealer?

Western RV is recalling 85 MY Alpine Coach Class A motorhomes equipped with Atwood sealed burner ranges. The range and slide-in burner tubes leading from the gas manifold to the burner heads had a depression or "kink" in the exterior bend restricting proper airflow and gas mixture. This condition could result in carbon monoxide poisoning. Western RV is working with Atwood to have the tubes replaced on these ranges. The manufacturer has not yet provided an owner notification schedule for this campaign. This recall was the subject of an Equipment Query, EA07-006, conducted by the Office of Defects Investigation. 08V-005.

The above recall was issued last Jan. WRV & several other RV mfg'ers utilizing the Atwood ranges are involved in this recall.
I would expect any reputable RV dealer or repair service to take care of this and collect their fee from Atwood.

What is "MY"? I don't understand the above quote... can you clarify, please?

Also, with WRV now out of business, so I doubt there is now any discussion between them. Sigh... on our own, again.

"MY" normal stands for "Model Year"
