The catalog is now online at ubiditup.com. There are only 3 "completed" Alpine Coach Ltds and many 5th wheels. The factory/service area shows about 6 Coach's in the bays. I think any one of them would be a scarey acquisition!!

What's the Workhorse "pusher" chassis used on?

Granny- I only see a 7 page PDF file on the biditup.com website. I didn't see any catalog. The 7 page puff piece says 3000 lots, but no detail by lot that I can find. Did you see a catalog anywhere?

The two photos are in the picture gallery (below puff piece)-- then go to the next to the last line and you will see them.

On the Biditup site, there was a link to a preview pdf file. Click that and you should arrive at about 15 pages of stuff.

I, too, was curious about the Workhorse pusher chassis WRV had in its possession.

My guess is the several ex-Workhorse consultants that Monomoy had on its team, just before bean counters applied the fibrillator, had a project underway, perhaps involving a cheaper coach line. It looks like the UFO chassis w/a gas engine, probably the 26,000 GVWR version.

Does Ron Doyle and/or his brother still own the land and buildings on which the WRV factory and service center sit?

If so, then would it be credible to think they could buy at auction the manufacturing assets at pennies on the dollar and restart a company with no debt and no warranty obligations?

Just a thought?

I'm curious, the logo on the back of the Alpine Coach shown in the "catalog" is the same as our 2005, not a 2009, unless they are going backwards on their designs. We are going to try to get down to the auction if for no other reason than to say good by.

If Ron did by the Assest at the auction, it would be nice, if he did restart the company and I feel it would go a long way toward customer loyality and future sales. If he did honor the warranty on coaches still in warranty under teh defuct WRV

The Alpine is the best driving coach on the market bar none. I traded out of mine because I nneded more floorspace for an Office. I really miss how comfortable it is to drive.

What I heard: Ron owns the property - but never seemed interested in his fathers business.
I believe he would rather collect rents and play golf.

Also why would ANYONE want to go into business, with the anti business attitude of government now?

I had the auction up on my computer all afternoon. The way the bidding and lots are set up, the average owner doesn't stand much of a chance of picking up something needed. The dealers and big money scavengers are picking the place clean. The only thing that'll be left after tomorrow, will be the dustballs!!
