It would be wonderful if some enterprising individual bought all the left over parts and offered them for sale on a website www.alpineparts.com.

Great idea!! Maybe you could get members from the Alpine Coach Association to rally around your idea. If you can -- I'd be interested in getting the water compartment door that was ordered the end of February. You'll probably have more luck getting "stuff" when you need it.
2. Biditup says includes over 50 completed motorhomes and fifth wheels. Strikes me as a lot of lot inventory. Don't know the mix, but that has to be $6 - $12 million worth of inventory that perhaps dealers chose to cancel. WOW
Probably doesn't include many motorhomes, tho no doubt there are some, as the inventory on hand of those was always kept at a minumum. Don't have a clue about towables.

I never saw more than 10 motorhomes and 15 trailers at one time which is why the number 50 struck me so high. All companies want them shipped out ASAP so they can get paid. <Shrug>
Ron Frazier told me the end of March that from there on out WRV would only be making a coach when they got an order for one -- not maintain an inventory. In February they were still trying to get rid of 06 Alpine Ltds (7 of them and priced between $163-179) and 06 Apex models (3 of them between $209-212) and 07 Apex models (3 of them between $207-210). Front tv's missing and "no warranty." Maybe some of the dealers have turned them back in to WRV. In March 06 they were all over the back and side of service area. Maybe people were just storing them there -- who knows.
Naive me. I didn't think they built units "just for stock"; only when ordered by a dealer either for a customer or the dealers stock. Tremendous amount of cash sitting there on the ramp.
So, does a group want to form, bid, hopefully win and then part out these remaining units? Ubitit should have a catalog on line soon to seen the specifics.
