So, I hope to have a reply next week on the status.
Great please update us when you get news. I might need to send mine off also and would appreciate knowing how your experience goes and the cost. Thanks

Motor repaired

So after sending the motor off to Globe, they forwarded it to their corporate lab, and $150 and a month later, it is fixed! Or at least returned to me. I have not connected it, but I will assume for now that it will work. I received an email from their corporate office, and was told it would be $150 flat rate. I had to mail a check before they would begin the work. No credit card by phone or other form of payment. Mailed in check only! But, after a few weeks, it showed up on my front door yesterday! Unless you hear otherwise, it is fixed

Interesting, I was just posting the same update!

I also shipped my motor to Globe and it's in transit back to me now. Same $150 price for me as well. I paid with a bank wire transfer to speed up the process. I'm expecting it to be good as new and will also post if it's otherwise.

The contact person at Globe for anyone else needing their motor repaired is:

Dan Albaghli
Applications Engineer
Globe Motors, Inc.
2275 Stanley Ave.
Dayton, OH 45404
Email: dalbaghli@globemotors.com

SHE, prefers to be contacted via email.

They were excellent to deal with.

Ken
