I am planning on installing a cargo slide in the basement that requires a plywood floor. This would need to be covered by carpet similar to the one currently on the basement floor. Question is, what is this carpet and where could I get it?

John. I found the carpet at Home Depot. It appeared to be a perfect match, both quality and appearance.

It is Ozite brand carpet. Tough as nails. Install it with contact cement. Apply adhesive to plywood and back of carpet. Let dry- install

Thanks for the info. Seems my local Lowes has the Ozite outdoor carpet under the Shaw label. I'm all set now.

A few manufacturers have similar products- thus why you found a Shaw brand at Lowes. All good material. make sure you have a sharp knife
