Batteries
What connections should be on the positive post of. The chassis battery, I had a friend help me out by installing bus bars for the house battery because of all the connections on the positive side of the house battery, and he went a step further and connected both batteries to the bus bar, now I am trying to undo this "help".

There are many possibilities for battery hook ups depending on your coach, what year it is, class A,B,C, what options you have on that coach etc......best thing for you to do is have an actual RV tech look at it. Do you have any pictures of the batteries and cables?

Take some pictures of what battery connection you have and post them here, with what MH you have.

On the house battery you should have the following connections : Inverter/Converter , Generator, CO detector , and the house 12volt items. You should also have a cable to the boost solenoid.
On the chassis battery you should have the steps , engine & boost solenoid. The leveling jacks could be on either battery. There could be more or less items depending on how your coach is configured.

This is an '01 diagram; perhaps the same as your coach.

batteries
Thanks for all of the replies, I jumped the gun, followed old scouts suggestion from another post.
I found the actual wiring diagrams in the tech help section. I am good to go!
A good magnifying glass was the key!

No to hijack the thread, but on the battery topic, I bought a two new stock, chassis batteries at Batteries Plus. The label is theirs, but these 950CCA commercial type, lead acid batteries are made in the USA, in PA.. Penn(?) makes Deco and other private labels. Date codes were last month and the charge showed 85% or 12.9vdc.; topped off individualy before install.
New Decos are $150 each. Buying online/store pickup has a 10% discount from the $99. I'm aware that private label items can be made to differing specs, but the 18 month free replacement offers some assurance of quality. Seems a deal!
The posts are screw studs, not the automotive kind, which should uncomplicate the cable connections hence more reliable.
