Frank- Did you use self-tapping sheet metal screws or did you use a bolt?
Thanks, Rick

OK GUYS, HERE ARE SOME MORE DETAILS/ANSWERS.
A LOCAL FRIEND/MECHANIC/ALPINE OWNER (JOHN SCHROEDER) MADE SEVERAL OF THE PROPANE FLOORS. ALL I HAD TO DO WAS INSTALL IT, WHICH WAS RELATIVELY EASY EXCEPT THAT THE COMPARTMENT IS NOT SQUARE. I USED BOLTS AND SELF TAPPING SCREWS I THINK. THERE IS ONLY ONE ROW OF LOUVERS AND AN OPENING AT THE LF JACK. FROM THE "CURRENT USED LOOK" (I.E. DIRT) THERE IS LOTS OF AIR FLOW. I DON'T RECALL HOW THICK THE METAL IS; HOWEVER IT ISN'T CRITICAL AS IT FASTENS TO THE BOTTOM OF THE PROPANE TANK SUPPORT BEAM AS WELL AS AROUND THE EDGES.
THERE IS A GREAT SHEET METAL OPERATION HERE THAT CAN MAKE THE FLOOR - AND JOHN MIGHT HAVE SOME MORE; HOWEVER HE HAS MOVED TO McMINVILLE, OR.
YOU ARE ALL WELCOME TO SEE MY STUFF ANY TIME YOU'RE IN YAKIMA OR WHEREVER WE MAY MEET.

Frank - My water is great. I haven't had any problems with the RO System or filling.
Too bad you haven't planned some time for ACA in Quartzsite - Our Apex is in a mobile home park in Ehrenberg, AZ - We will be heading out there about Jan 16 & probably going home the 27th. Maybe we will stop and look for you at ODR coming or going. We were out there 2 weeks ago & it was windy & freezing cold!
Merry Christmas to you & Cathy!

Hrhuggie,
Where do you stay in banning? My mother lives at Sun lakes; we usually spend a couple of months in the area each winter. I have been on the waiting list for several years for a spot in the Sun Lakes RV storage. Unless we go to Palm Springs/ Indio we have not found any nice RV parks.

Wayne,
We have a house in Banning and our storage is close to the airport. Our house is the next 55+ community to the East of Sunlakes off Sunset.
Palm Springs really does have the nicest RV parks in the area. There are a few others in the area (near Idlywild and off 79 heading for San Jacinto) but not nearly as nice as most in PS
