I looked at the Alpine coach's at the Tampa show. The brochure I took calls the bed in the mid door coach a king, yet it clearly is shown in scale as queen size. When I asked the salesperson he said he was sure it was king, but then when I pointed it out he wisely back peddled*. I stopped him from getting the factory guy for a official answer since I did not want to get into a long talk.
In any case does anyone here know what size the bed is in a Mid door 40'.

Sounds like a good excuse to go back to the show - with a tape measure this time! Check out the sticker to make sure it's not an upgrade option!

The other thing that I had great success with when needing to know a real measurement of something in an RV was to find one on a dealer's lot and call the dealer, asking him/her to make the measurement. I had a dealer in NC who I told I would not be buying from go out to a unit on his lot and call me back with measurements!

Bruce,

The 40Ft mid-door definitely has a queen size bed. When we bought our 07, we specifically asked the factory rep if there was any way that we could get a mid-door with a king size bed. He checked with the engineers, and they said "not possible". So, at this time, a king size bed is not even an option with a mid-door. Of course, that's not to say that the factory can't figure out a way to do that in the future.

Good luck finding the right floor plan!
