Went to leave this morning, turned on the key, pressed the buttons in the medicine cabinet to bring the bedroom slides in and... nothing happened! The little control unit seems to be a bit loose. I pressed some more and the slides finally came in, but I am obviously concerned. Has anyone else experienced this?

Yes, I've had a similar problem with the slides. I imagine someone more technical than I will tell us what function of the system is not working or working sporadically. What I do is try to get a jack to move slightly - once that happens the system will work for all the functions including slides.

Update: When we got to our next stop, NONE of the slideouts worked. We called HWH and the tech walked me through observing lights and checking voltages in the hydraulic control box. It was ultimately determined that a fuse was loose in the hydraulic control box. I pushed it in, and things seemed to work. My wife was still afraid to put the slides out, so we'll leave them in until we get to Arizona and have the system checked.

Turns out the motherboard in the HWH control unit for the slideouts and jacks is defective. I'm having it replaced with a new one.

I take it that you are in Arizona now? If so who did the repairs? May need some work done as I am told the valve for the bedroom is leaking and will move out some when stored and the valve needs replaced..

We had the work done at Al's RV at 51st and Bell Rd. in Glendale. They were great. They dealt with HWH in Iowa to get the board overnighted and they dealt with the extended warranty folks to get approval. We initially brought it in on a Tuesday, and the part came in Thursday morning and we were out of there Thursday afternoon. Chris and Lyle are great service people to work with.
