Hello, many of you have changed the bedroom TV from the original Magnavox unit to a flat screen. We don't use the BedRM TV enough to warrant that expense, but we have lost the remote unit for our model. The model is a 20MC4204 @ 20" in screen size with a DVD player built in.

If you have the remote for that TV we would love to have it provided you want to get rid of it. We would be willing to pay for shipping and some compensation to you for it. A new one lists on the internet (not exactly the same one) for 25 plus shipping.

Hello Monty, Fortunately with electronics today you can get a universal remote that you can program to your TV and accessories.

You can find them at Best Buy, Radio Shack (Before they close the doors). They will also have them online including EBay and Amazon.

There are many "Universal" remotes, some are 2,3,4,5,8,more in one units. The MSRP starts at $1.00 believe it or not (Dollar store).

Once you get up to around 50 bucks the odds of them having the codes for your unit approach 100 percent but even at 1.00 you should be at worst 50/50.

And then there is E-bay, where I paid 10 bucks for the remote for my main TV (Did not come with one, Pawn shop purchase).
