Will Bob Lee be at DRR? Has he been invited? Anyone know? It would sure be interesting to hear the plan straight from him.

Yes, Bob Lee will be at DRR VI, but I am not sure for how long. I think he originally planned to stay for the whole rally, but now I understand that he recently was in the area and surprised by the remoteness...so he may only stay for a few days.

I believe Gale is planning a session with us and Bob and other WRV new and old reps to give us a chance to learn more.

Thanks, Gail and John, I think we're all going to be eager to hear what he has to say. But why was he surprised by the "remoteness"? He's never been to QZ? He can sure use our Starband system to stay in touch.

No, I don't think he has ever been to QZ...boy, will he be surprised to see all of the RVs parked all over the desert!

Wow, I'm sure he'll be surprised to see 130+ Alpines up on the grade overlooking QZ, plus all of the owners fighting to catch TP! Don't tell me the CCers don't do the same?

I think the TP catch is a Gale exclusive! And it really is impressive to see so many Alpines out there in the desert. I don't know if the CC owners club goes to QZ...I've seen many other brands, but don't think I've seen CCs.

Well we're sure anxious to hear what he has to say, and I know he'll get a great welcome from the ACA.

And we hope to meet you two and Sammi, too.

Here's a pic from Quartzsite last year. Taken on top the Alpine in the early morning. Won't be there this year. We will miss everyone

Yup, those are all Alpines.

Oops! I spoke too soon about Bob Lee being able to use our Starband system...we haven't upgraded to the new model yet. Sorry....

Nice picture Tom and Patty!

Tom, that is a fabulous picture...we should have had that in last year's ACA newsletter. I sure hope Bob Lee is monitoring this, as that will really give him a feel for what our DRR rallies are like.
