I also have a 2006 Apex. Use the screen on the dash not the TV. Push the button (Prog) on the right side of the screen until it shows Inverter settings, useing the round knob you can move down the screen to change settings.
The installer code is 42, after that is set you change settings for type of battries and amp hours etc. If you need more help call my cell 530-515-8661
