Has anybody added/replaced a Turbo Boost gauge?
If so, may I have some specifics?

Thank you.

Bob,

We haven't added a boost guage, but we do run VMSpc on a laptop. VMSpc provides a boost guage, plus numerous other guagess that are absent on the Alpines instument cluster. You can PM Danny Gayhart, I purchased mine through him. We wouldn't be without it.

In the photo below, you can see our 15" screen laptop on the dash. Inverter and connecting cables are under the dash. We are thinking of upgrading to a 12' screen.

Here is a link for Silverleaf's VMSpc. http://www.silverleafelectronics.com/?q=node/6

I forgot to mention I had trouble seeing small print. That 12' screen should do just fine

Thank you.

I've thought of the Silverleaf umbillical and can't find any reason to not use the same setup as you. In fact, I have an older Toshiba running Windows 98Se that would be ideal for the purpose.

Another question:
Is it possible to set up the Lap-top to display the Silverleaf info in a split-screen mode and have the other side of the screen display from the rear view camera?

The reason I ask is that I'd like to have the rear-view on all the time and prefer to not use the 20" TV that it is using for the display now.

BTW, you sure dressed up that Coach for Christmas. Nice job indeed.

Again, thanks for the feedback.
