A search on this forum will be your friend--technically, your Alpine is not wired for a brake controller. If you can find them, spare wires do run from the front to the back but they may not be the right gauge/size for what you want/need. In addition, the newer/Vansco powered coaches require special wiring/config to connect the after market brake controller to the brake activation switch.....

I assume your newer coach still has Spare 1 and Spare 2 near the steering column. They are just wires going from the front to the rear. I used one for my trailer controller and the other for my car's controller. I have to change connectors for the brake controller needed for the situation.

As I recall my 07 had the blue brake wire running to the front of the coach. Hooking up a hot charge wire was easy as the battery compartment is right there. You do not have to go to the Vansco. Somewhere on this forum is an article on installing the contacts in the brake switch to activate the controller. A Ford contact kit, I think. The tough part was mounting the controller itself. I used a right angle bracket attached to the vertical center panel so it was on my right below the dash.
