After reading the latest posts on the subjectm and after looking (but not touching) at the brake rod adjustment I decided to not touch it. Besides as somebody pointed out, all the adjustment is going to do is raise the pedal or partially push the master cyclinder piston partially into the bore and start the back up motor. So there has to be another solution. BTW I have an 03 without the swing pedals.
