Hello & Welcome Schnieb:

What type of cargo latch are you looking for? If it is the latch for the 2001 and newer bay doors you should be able to find them at a Good RV supply store. They can also be found at RV body repair shops. They are very common and widely used in the RV industry. They are all keyed alike so that should make it easier for you.

The latch is for a 2005, for the propane door (no lock). I pulled a good one off and took it to two different RV stores and they said good luck. I don't think luck is a factor here, we just need to find out who manufacturs them, then go from there. I'm currently in a campground with alot of rigs, knowone has these latches. So I don't think they are too common. I could be wrong and am just having bad luck this weekend. I hope that's the case.

The same company that makes the keyless entry keypad, makes the latches, an APEX owner can supply the name, I saved the link, but cannot find it now. If I do, I will post it. Check on previous posting about keyless door lock, the link is there.

They should have the lock you are looking for, drill down through the products tab.

If you can't find it anywhere else, try Northwest RV Supply in Eugene, OR. It's like a giant toy store of surplusparts from various manufacturers. 866-678-7467

The side-swing doors on Apex & 07+ coaches use Trimark # 060-0475 in chrome finish. The propane door has no lock.
Vertical swing doors use Southco C5 lever latches (scroll down the page).

William Schnieber,
I have added the C5-Sealed Lever Latches to two coachs for the PS holding tank door. I recently did the last one and already had the lock (WRV before TU) , but not the holding bracket which holds it. Also the mounting bolt and door hold bolts are metric. I can save you a call to Southco because as a MFG/OEM suppler they will not sell directly to you. I buy as a repair shop and they would not sell to me either. (Southco did comp me the bracket).
Southco told me to contact Austin Hardware (Dallas) @ 800-527-5640 (www.austinhardware.com) I ordered the rubber gasket for the bay door (C5-82 Gasket)and also some of the interior draws closing locks (C3-210).
You said you need the Propane (non-locking latch) I think you need C5-11-15, but should check with Austin to varify.
I called Dallas, but invoice was from Kansas City. Phone number on invoice was 816-246-2800. Web site shows about 9 locations.
PM me if you need any additional info.
Hope this info helps.

Dan
