Burnt GFCI wiring, outlet feels warm

If your GFCI outlet is warm to the touch or ceases to work, turn off the breaker feeding it & check the connections. If they look like this:

you should consider replacing it.
I got one w/an LED night light built in for an additional $3 at H.D. (or maybe Lowes, I furget).

I guess they don't last forever. The wiring on mine was fine but it was getting warm so I replaced it and it runs cool now.

Make sure you get the ones that use screws to secure the wire and not the phony
ones that you plug the wire in.
