Clark,

Congratulations!

Excellent choice, the 36' front door triple slide is my favorite configuration.

See you down the road.

I hope you will fit the Quartzite Rally into your plans this January. Danny and I will be leading a trip to the Desert Bar via the rough route, where 4-low is req'd. It's not quite Moab, but you know we'll be there again too, April 5-13, 2008.

Jeff Schultz

Gary A, You know you could make Moab in April, if you really wanted to!

Clark & Donna

Congratulations and welcome to the Alpine Coach family. The 36FDTS is my favorite floor plan and Cinnabark would defiantly be my choice in colors. I believe have the same coach as Bob & Jean.

Jeff is right you should join us in Quartzsite this Jan. and put Moab on the radar screen for April. My brother is coming from Ohio in April along with four rigs from Junction City OR. We should have the best time ever. We are staying at Canyonlands again.

Pet the pups for me, Randy says HI!

I was getting all excited about offroading in AZ and then Donna reminded me that I'm having Lasik on one eye on January 10th and have to stay away from dust for two weeks.
So what's up after that for offroading in AZ.
Yes, we'll be in Moab in April, hopefully with our sons and their rigs and maybe a couple of other friends with Jeeps.
In the meantime I'm installing A/C and an Underdrive in the Land Rover for slower and more comfortable rockcrawling.
Guess I'm hijacking my own thread here.

Congratulations to you both, and welcome to the Alpine world. We bought our '03 the same way as you. the dealer dropped the price so low we could not believe the number. He had to write it down on paper for us to believe it. Your Garmin GPS 7200 has gotten us down to Gulf Shores, Al just fine. Weather is definately warmer here than TN.

congratulations on your new coach, and welcome to the Alpine family. Did Donna get her washer/dryer?

I can't imagine that you can improve on you Rover. That thing climbs walls as it is.

Hello Chuck and Rebina....

Yes, we did get the Splendide and it was a lot easier to convince Donna that she'd like it when she discovered that she could only run the stackables one at a time.
Glad the 7200 is working well. Tell me how much you had to pay Garmin for Version 8 of the City Select and I'll send you a check.
And, how about Moab for you in the Spring?

Clark

Jeff....

I did as you said, but frankly I wasn't sure what I was signing up for or what the Karma means - besides the Hindu aspect.

Clark </div></BLOCKQUOTE>Clark, don't worry. It's merely the quote below the user's name, above the little campfires.

Hello Danny...

We are planning to come to AZ in mid-late January for a month or so. They are starting construction on a separate apartment on our property for my parents sometime in the next two months so that will affect our time schedule.
We plan on being the the Green River - Moab - Cortez area for about a month in April and May.
I should be clearer on when in the next couple of weeks.
Got some trails?

Clark

Clark </div></BLOCKQUOTE>Clark, It's not like it the Sahara Desert out here, especially in the winter (our "rainy season", relatively speaking). You might not have to completely rule out the Quartzite rally, if you can get to AZ by Jan 16 or 17, after your Lasik surgery on the 10th. Avoiding dust might mean, don't power sand your wood floors at home or do any cutting with a circular saw, or auto body work. I hate to have you miss Quartzite.

Jeff.
