It is pretty well built up throughout the area. There are other parks along the coast but not aware of anything inland. Might be some old trailer parks but in general, I wouldn't use them.

Hello & Welcome RCHAF:

Congratulations on the Grand Baby. The only RV Park I know of in the area is VALENCIA TRAVEL VILLAGE, PHONE: (888)588-8678. There is another one in the Van Nuys area although I have never seen that one which is BIRMINGHAM RV PARK, PHONE: (818)785-0949. If you are Elk you can also look at the local lodges some of them have RV parking.

Congrats on the Grandbaby. I used to stay at Walnut RV Park in Northridge, near Tampa and Nordoff. Older, nice park within walking distance to restaurants and shopping. They usually don't have too many spaces available as there are a lot of "permanent" residents. www.walnutrvpark.com
Good luck.

This is the place to stay, been there, it is wonderful. Some sites will take big rigs, beautiful views, great park.

I would not stay at Birmingham RV park that Dave mentioned. I pass by there going to work and it is not an area that I would want to stay in. I am not aware of the one in Northridge but it is only about 8 minutes further away from Birmingham. I think it might be closer to Hollywood...depending where in Hollywood you will be going.

John and I stay at the Valencia Travel Village all of the time, as all of our kids live in SoCal. It is very close to I-5, just on the other side of Magic Mountain in Santa Clarita. It is not real close to Hollywood, but it is a nice place to stay and is a direct shot down I-5 to the 170/Hollywood Freeway. If you are not trying to get down there during rush hour, it shouldn't take more than 25-30 minutes...depending on where in Hollywood you are going.

Congratulations on the new grandbaby!!!
