Presently in San Carlos Mex. so I probably can't find much here but when I get back to Arizona.

Brad,

You should use a self-leveling sealer on the horizontal surfaces. Her is a link to one that CW sells.

This one would probably be good on areas that are not horizontal.

you should be able to find similar types elsewhere, I generally don't use silicone for this purpose.

Make sure that area that you are applying it to is clean and dry. I use a soap type cleaner with water and then alcohol.

I used the ProFlex sealant from Camping World listed above to reseal the front and rear cap areas on my coach back in 2005. They haven't leaked since. I check periodically to see if the sealant is still pliable, and it is. It seems to adhere very well to the fiberglass.

I agree with Dale, make sure the area is clean and dry. I used alcohol as well. In my case the old caulking on the front cap pealed off very easily. (One reason it failed, no doubt!!)

You make a good point that I failed to mention. Remove any loose caulking before applying new caulking.
