Central vac filter bag missing?

Can anyone tell me where the filter bag is located on our 2000 Alpine? I found the electrical connection in the basement but can't seem to locate the filter bag.

Hello & Welcome SoCalCPA:

Glad you joined us on IRV2 and the Alpine Coach Forum. The Central RV Vacuum Cleaner on Alpines were placed in the Bays on the Passenger side. It should be located in the second bay back from the front of the coach on a bulk head and ceiling. (Provided it was never removed) They were blue in color and are now made by Dirt Devil. There is a pull handle on the end and the bag is located inside. I have attaché a picture of a dirt devil which is shown on its side. You can get replacement bags from most RV 7 Trailer supply stores or on line.
It would also help if you provided the Model (Front or Mid Entry) and the length so we can provide you with more and correct information.

It does appear that you are in Southern CA by your Avatar. There is an Alpine Club in So Cal (Alpine So Cal RV Club) and also a National Club (Alpine Coach Association) There are some other Alpine Clubs throughout the US. All of the Clubs do have Rallies and if you check there Web Sites you can get more Info about the clubs and Rallies.

If you look at the Sticky at the top, you will see that one of our members is making and updating an Alpine Coach Registry. http://www.irv2.com/forums/f104/alpi...ter-78224.html

Hope to see you on the Road.

RV 2000 Maxum

Dave....thanks for your response. Our Alpine is a 2000 38', front door, double slide. I will take another look at the blue unit in the basement but I thought it was the power unit. I did not see a handle on the end but perhaps I overlooked it. We are members of the SoCal Alpine club and hope to attend more rallies. Our first was Newport Beach a couple of years ago. Thanks again for your help.
