Changing out the rear tv...

Took the rear TV out....now I wanna up grade with out looking like it's been changed..
the coach is the 34'r with the corner tv.... we would like to put a 28'' but all the stores so far don't have any...24'' and 32'' seems to be the norm...

think a 24'' will be big enough.... anyone here changed theirs out and can post a few pics...

You don't say what year your RV is. Are you changing from a tube to a LCD set? If so, you won't have HD quality video unless you run a HDMI cable to the back. So RV's it is really hard to do. Or, you could have another recover in back.

It's a 2004 34'r..

I'm gonna do a separate dvd in the rear, and a free tv antenna.... we have done it this way before and like it... we don't watch TV and watch dvd movies

I wanna change out the roof antenna also...

New widescreen HD TVs (with a coax input) will display HD (if available) using existing coax from the existing rooftop OTA antenna.

Mine is a 24" ... it's ok but bigger would be better .... however, 32" would probably be overkill.

I put a 24" in mine and it seems plenty big...not much room in the bedroom.

Kustom Coach in Junction City, Or. replaced the original tube unit with a 24" flat screen in our 05 36'. We had them hinge the whole unit giving us a large storage area behind the tv

Dh is undergoing the exact same project. Has the tv mounted and he is planning on a hinge (upward swing) to give extra storage. We have the sat cable ready to go on the back tv, but not sure if we'll use it. We're also replacing the front tv as well. We were going to put it on a hinge as well, but decided to just make it semi-permanent.
