Changing propane tank

I saw some pictures about someone who removed the large propane tank and replaced it with a smaller one and then made the space into a storage area. I would appreciate if anyone can help finding the article. I looked under conversions that people have done to their rigs but that particular one didn't show up. I have the large tank and have yet to put propane in it since we got the coach in 2004, we only use it for the cook top and oven.
Thanks

I am not sure, but the only post I have seen about removing the propane tank was on a SE or Apex. These have the long, small diameter tank that goes all the way across the coach. Doesn't your coach have the tank that is about 3' long and 18"+ in diameter and in the compartment just behind the drivers front wheel? It can only be accessed from that compartment door. I have seen posts about adding storage under the tank on your style coach.

That said, I can't think of any reason for you not to remove yours and install a smaller tank.

Here is shelf added to your type coach.

Here is the post I think that you were looking for.
