was told yesterday in my pre delivery demo that entegra coach house battries will charge off alternator AFTER chasis batteries are fully charged. Also, chassis batteries will be charged by shore power AFTER house batteries are fully charged. Hope this helps....

The Vansco unit monitors the voltage of the chassis and house batteries and then operates the large relay that connects both battery banks together. This relay is on the back wall of the battery compartment. Yes, the alternator charges the house batteries. The #19 LED on the Vansco in the battery compartment is lit when this relay is operated.
