Chassis AC compressor clutch

Greetings fellow Alpiners,

Just wondering if anyone might have a part number for the chassis AC compressor clutch.

Thanks !

Jeff

If its the OEM compressor on a 2001, I think I would just change out the compressor and flush/recharge the system. Probably not what you want to hear but if the clutch is gone, the compressor is probably not that far behind.....
While you are at it, replace the dryer/filter and the expansion valve too--think you will be happier with the outcome..

Old Scout....Thanks for your thoughts but the AC is working great and I do not want to futz with it. All I need is the clutch which is easy to swap if I had a part number.....Just hoping someone who has replaced theirs might still have the number on hand so I can order one.

Understand--I didnt look to find the thread but I recall that although the original manufacturer [Acme] is out of business, there is/was a company that had bought up a lot of their parts/ was stocking replacement parts. Try doing a search on "Acme"--hopefully the thread will turn up....good luck...Try this.....http://acmeairparts.com/
