Check Daily List

Going over the items to check daily, I see some items listed that I have no idea what they are and where they're located. I sure could use some help locating:

1. The Air Dryer (Coach Care just changed this)
2. Moisture skimmer

Thanks.

Why would you check the air dryer daily? OK what it probably means is you should purge the air tank to get rid of any moisture that has got past the dryer. Only if you start getting moisture out of the bleed valve do you need to worry about the dryer desiccant, which you have just changed so that's not likely.
I have no idea what a moisture skinner is.

Page 100 of the Apex maual.

Air dryer: Inspect for leaks and blockage of purge valve daily
Air intake: Inspect for blockage daily
Air filter: Check for restriction - replace as needed
Moisture skimmer: Inspect for blockage daily
Air tank reservoir: Drain condensation daily.

I guess if you read your car manual it says to check tire pressures, oil level, antifreeze etc. daily but none of us do that. I certainly do nothing on your list daily, maybe once a month if I am being conscientious. Whoever wrote your Apex manual had OCD in my opinion. Check a Limited manual and see what the differences are. I don't know how you could even do number 1 on your list and I still have no idea what a moisture skimmer is.

I think it’s very obvious; a moisture skimmer would be your wiper blades.

It could be that but I have never seen one. Should be easy to find on the air intake side before the filter. The descriptions says "no maintenance" so I think you can ignore checking it daily.

It's located behind the rear service panel on the passenger side, and after the air filter.

Engineer Mike: You'd better watch out!!

According to the manufacturer it should be installed "before" the filter, so another screw up by WRV.
